Jennifer Noelle Welch grew up in Mystic, Connecticut, and currently writes fantasy and speculative fiction in Portland, Maine. Her stories have appeared in such publications as Aoife’s Kiss (where this story was originally published), Penumbra, and InterGalactic Medicine Show.
When she isn’t writing, you can find her exploring the nearest museums, junk shops, and barbecue restaurants. Yum! She’s currently hard at work on a novel.
